Leave it to those crazy folks over at iPhone Dev Team posted a fun cryptic message on their blog today under the title "2008?" and it opened the doors for all the 3G unlock speculators on the web.

While on a fun holiday break I couldn't stop thinking about the guy who was making $10k per day selling the iFart application and the reasons why people thought it was a wise $1 purchase. Then when I read about his Christmas sales numbers which reached upwards of $27,249 net on Christmas day, I began to think of how to create a free alternative that anyone could use. Honestly you know our country is defintely in the economic-crapper if an "application" for the iPhone/iPod Touch called iFart Mobile (selling for 99-cents) is generating upwards of $10,000 a day for the developer.
Most interesting is that the developer of the app has been very transparent about his sales numbers during his app's climb in ranking. From a previous blog post:
